Luke Robertson Public Keynote Speaker
Luke Robertson: Endurance & Resilience
Luke continued to demonstrate an amazing strength of character throughout the expedition despite having ongoing health issues that resulted in Luke having an artificial pacemaker fitted in 2008 and needing to undergo lifesaving surgery in 2014 for a mass on his brain. Nonetheless, Luke continues to push himself, having successfully completed both solo and group expeditions to Norway and Greenland. He has also competed in the Ben Nevis Triathlon, the Ten Peaks Ultra and the Cape Wrath Ultra Marathon Expedition, where he also wrote an article for the BBC documenting the experience.
