Prior to starting his investment holding company, Nova Founders Capital, Mads was Global Partner and Managing Director of the German internet giant, Rocket Internet; Head of Asia at Groupon (the world’s fastest growing company), and a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company. Mads received his bachelor from Copenhagen Business School and his MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

While Mads build companies to keep them, he has done several successful exits of companies he founded, including selling Lion & Lion to a large listed agency group and Compare Asia Group to a larger insurer.

Mads is the Managing Partner at Nova Founders Capital and has been named one of the top talents in Denmark. He is an expert adviser on web entrepreneurship to the EU Commission. He has not only started companies in his home country, but has started them in markets as diverse as Hong Kong, Philippines, Portugal, Malaysia, Germany, Singapore, Mexico, Thailand, Taiwan, and Denmark.

In 2018, he co-authored the bestselling business book Entrepreneur: Building Your Business From Start to Success. The book has since been sold in over 20 countries and translated into multiple languages.
