Top British Corporate Talent for Events and Production in 2022.

27th Dec 2021

There’s no doubt that the past 2-years has been a challenge for those of us in business, events and production. The change was so prevalent that we even wrote quite a couple of blogs on it; How The Voiceover Industry Has Changed Since Covid-19 and Events in the ‘New Normal’ Post-Lockdown Innovation for Opportunities and Growth.

However, in the midst of all the disruption, this long hiatus gave us the perfect opportunity to rebuild our website and introduce more top talents too!

We also re-branded and became the Great British Talent Group – combining our Speakers, Presenters and Voiceover brands all under one umbrella.

Introducing the Great British Talent Group.

The Great British Talent Group is a boutique speaker, presenter & voiceover talent bureau based in the UK.

We have some of the most well-known names in the industry, including famous celebrities and we take great care in finding the perfect person for your upcoming event or project, including Lenny Henry, Claudia Winkleman, Ben Fogle and Dame Kelly Holmes just to name a few…

And we regularly work with some of the biggest companies in the world, helping clients find speakers for international conferences, presenters for exhibitions and voice-over artists for media producers.

We are a small team of 4, and pride ourselves on our fast and efficient customer service. We understand the importance of matching the right talent to the job and everyone we work with is handpicked for their professionalism and skill so you can rest assured knowing that your project, talk or production is in the most capable hands.

A Sucessful 2021!

As events started to re-open this year, here’s a little insight into what we’ve been up to…,

Great British Speakers

Over the last few years, our usual way of working has drastically changed, and in turn, the way we socialise and communicate has also been affected.

As events turned virtual, our speakers stepped up and adapted their talks for virtual audiences.

And as lockdown eased we saw the emergence and growth of hybrid events take precedence – allowing clients to book speakers both virtually and in-person, and in turn, providing them with more scope and opportunities to reach a wider audience.

And as lockdown ended, our team at Great British Speakers were eager to attend events again and connect with our clients in person too. So after a year away from the events scene, we attended the International Confex events show in London last September.

Great British Presenters

We also had a very successful year at Great British Presenters – sending our presenters to host multiple (covid-safe) events and corporate videos as lockdowns began to ease. From the Olympics to movie premieres, here are just a few things our presenters got up to in 2021.

  • Marc and James flew to Munich, Germany to host one of the world’s leading luxury car manufacturers.
  • Sports presenter Orla flew to Japan to interview the leading sport-stars of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

  • Craig went all 007, as host and interviewer on the red carpet for the latest James Bond film.
  • We opened up our international presenter’s roster and Veronica joined the team! Hosting in English and Spanish for our UK-based client.
  • James had a brilliant summer ’techbusting’ for Vodafone’s internal training platform, hosting the semi-finals weekend for the VITALITY NETBALL SUPERLEAGUE and filming for IFBA, in a series helping PT’s grow their business.
  • Entertainment Presenter Dave acted MC at this year’s Tough Mudder Event. And he was at the finish line chatting (aka interviewing) the participants as they completed the course.
  • Nadira moderated a 4 day international virtual summit of speakers from around the world in different time zones.
  • Ashley hosted a hybrid event for one of our longest standing corporate clients in the print industry and he also reported on the Giro D’Italia cycling event.
  • Great British Presenters’ director Jane Farnham hosted a new corporate news platform for our fab friends at ôlyvon, which aims to enable corporate professionals to create customised internal and external comms with their own in house newsroom.
  • Laura was chosen by tech giant Dell to host their latest corporate video in London Camberwell Studios.
  • We worked on a fintech cohort of coporate films –

Presenters with Homestudios

Plus, We’re pleased to announce that over the last 2 years not only have we expanded our roster and gained some incredible new talents, but we’ve also started working alongside presenters with green-screen home studios too.  So you no longer need to worry about any potential restrictions when it comes to filming your corporate video as we have many presenters who can now professionally record content from home, perfect for explainers and e-learning courses.

Great British Voices

When live events and the studio’s closed, voiceover stepped in to save the day, allowing clients to still connect and inform via video.

Prior to Covid, producers may have been a bit wary of hiring a voiceover artist to record from their own home studio, maybe some even still are… But if one positive has come from a series of lockdowns, it’s that creatives are now truly realising the benefits of hiring voiceover to record from home.

At Great British Voices, our voiceover artists’ were already all set up from home, with professional broadcast quality home studios. They’re also able to edit and self-direct to the most professional standard.

Therefore, when producers were unable to film with a live presenter in a studio, many were turning to the help of a professionally trained voiceover artist to narrate their video.

Celebrity Voices

Yes, that’s correct. Great British Voices has also launched CELEBRITY VOICES so you can now hire a well-known famous voice to record your corporate video or commercial. After all, a recognisable voice can help to evoke trust within your audience and we have built a fantastic relationship with some of the country’s most well-known TV personalities, actors, presenters and comedians for your project.

Make an Enquiry.

We appreciate that there’s still a lot of uncertainty and that you may have some concerns about booking a speaker, presenter, entertainer or voiceover artist for an event or production at this time, but whether you go for a live, hybrid or virtual experience our talents will ensure your message is remembered and your event runs smoothly

And do remember that ALL of our voiceover artists have professional home studio facilities, and can dial-in (via Zoom, Source Connect or similar) so you can direct them as they record your script.  Many of our presenters have green-screen home studio facilities and many of our speakers have also jumped on the virtual bandwagon and now hold their talks remotely too – so no matter what talent you’re after you never have to miss out.
