Croydon-born Susanna Reid started her public career at the age of 12, starring in a stage production of Agatha Christie’s Spider’s Web, before moving to television in The Price on Channel 4. Reluctant to continue on an acting path, Susanna went to Bristol University in 1989 where she studied politics and philosophy, before training as a journalist at Cardiff University’s Centre for Journalism.
