Scottish-born Kaye Adams is one of the UK’s best-loved daytime TV presenters, co-hosting shows such as ITV’s Loose Women. She anchored the show between 1999 and 2006, where she created a popular and engaging mix of topical and entertaining issues such as menopause, immigration, and the monarchy.
After a seven-year break, Kaye returned to the panel alongside Carol Vorderman, Andrea McLean, and Ruth Langsford.
As a journalist, Kaye has covered a range of topical subjects from the humorous and entertaining, to the tragic and thoughtful. In 2009, she joined a long list of reporters for BBC’s The One Show, bringing her to a wider audience.

Kaye Adams started her career in political journalism, interviewing politicians such as Margaret Thatcher. Whilst she didn’t stay in political news, she was a go-to presenter for hard-hitting news stories, reporting on the Lockerbie disaster in 1988.
Kaye spent the first 10-15 years working for Scottish channels such as Scotland Today, as well as hosting a discussion show Scottish Women which ran for six years under Kaye’s chair. Her presentation of this talk show won Kaye a number of industry awards and put her firmly on the map as a star talk show host.
Kaye then moved on to presenting shows for a number of channels, including ITV Weekend Live, Central Independent Television’s Central Weekend Live, and Kaye for BBC2, before taking the helm of much-loved shows like This Morning in the early 2000’s, and I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here in 2002.
As well as being a successful television presenter, Kaye has a long history of voiceover and narration work; in 2008 she narrated a six-part documentary called The Merchant Navy for STV, as well as doing the voiceover for a documentary titled The Lockerbie Bomber: Sent Home to Die in 2010.

Kaye is not just one of the most recognisable television and radio presenters in the UK, she is also an avid cook and released a cookery book with Loose Women comrade Nadia Sawalha in 2018 called Nadia & Kaye: Disaster Chef.
She is also an experienced host of live and virtual events including the SQA Star Awards.
