Overview: We all know engagement is key to making change stick. The problem is we don’t always know how to gain that engagement. Is it staff surveys or consultation sessions? What if it’s none of those things?
What if engagement is the by-product of something much more tangible? What if engagement happens when we involve people in a change?

Overview: Leaders model the culture of a business, if there isn’t cohesion at the leadership level that’s how silos form, and teams and businesses splinter.
This talk focuses on how businesses can create a learning and flexible culture that does what works, over what it’s always done.
The first step is embedding those qualities in the leaders of a business. When we do that we’re doing more that finding new ways of working. We’re creating leaders that think and act differently; and model a culture that grows a leadership pipeline.
Speaking Topic 5 – Handling Unique Business Challenges
Overview: We can’t address unique challenges with the same way of thinking we’ve always had. It’s that old adage, if we do what we’ve always done, we’ll get what we’ve always got.
Often, there’s no way of knowing if our usual way of working isn’t up to the task of solving the challenge in front of us. This talk explains clearly why we need a different way of thinking in the face of business challenges. It explores how to gain the ability to ask different questions that leads us to different answers.

Overview: The point of shifting mindset is that it comes with a change in behaviour. That’s important because thinking differently with no change in behaviour, or tangible effects in the real world, is a purely intellectual enterprise.
