Keynote Topics
Speaking Topic 1 – The Six Attributes of a Leadership Mindset
Overview: Solving a team or business challenge begins with thinking differently. The six attributes of a leadership mindset is a challenging yet effective way to develop a shift in thinking that allows us to look at our lives and organizations differently.
This talk explores why mindset matters, and how we can use the six attributes to grow our own mindset, and create a platform for others to grow theirs.
Speaking Topic 2 – Change Management
Overview: We all know engagement is key to making change stick. The problem is we don’t always know how to gain that engagement. Is it staff surveys or consultation sessions? What if it’s none of those things?
What if engagement is the by-product of something much more tangible? What if engagement happens when we involve people in a change?
This talk uncovers the mindset that creates self-sustainable change. And what we need to make that mindset shift possible.
Speaking Topic 3 – Strategic Focus
Overview: there’s so much offered on strategy you’d think we’d all be experts by now. But books, talks, and videos offering a new strategic model serve to confuse more than enlighten.
But what if creating bold and innovative strategies doesn’t begin with a model or framework, but begins with a way of thinking?
That’s the premise of this talk. Joe shows us how we can use genuine curiosity and flexibility of mind to create revolutionary strategies that allow people to feel connected to a business. That connection is the first step to making strategy live outside the boardroom.
If we do that our business becomes a team pulling on the same rope in the same direction.
Speaking Topic 4 – Leadership Cohesion
Overview: Leaders model the culture of a business, if there isn’t cohesion at the leadership level that’s how silos form, and teams and businesses splinter.
This talk focuses on how businesses can create a learning and flexible culture that does what works, over what it’s always done.
The first step is embedding those qualities in the leaders of a business. When we do that we’re doing more that finding new ways of working. We’re creating leaders that think and act differently; and model a culture that grows a leadership pipeline.
Speaking Topic 5 – Handling Unique Business Challenges
Overview: We can’t address unique challenges with the same way of thinking we’ve always had. It’s that old adage, if we do what we’ve always done, we’ll get what we’ve always got.
Often, there’s no way of knowing if our usual way of working isn’t up to the task of solving the challenge in front of us. This talk explains clearly why we need a different way of thinking in the face of business challenges. It explores how to gain the ability to ask different questions that leads us to different answers.
Speaking Topic 6 – Operationalizing Mindset
Overview: The point of shifting mindset is that it comes with a change in behaviour. That’s important because thinking differently with no change in behaviour, or tangible effects in the real world, is a purely intellectual enterprise.
This talk explores how we can create a shift in mindset, and how we can cascade that shift in thinking across teams, and an entire organization.
