A former female footballer and FA qualified coach Jacqui Oatley can often be found commenting on major football tournaments, including FIFA World Cups, Euros and Olympic Games as well as multiple FIFA Women’s World Cup events.
Jacqui Oatley has always had an innate passion for a wide range of sports, and as the UK’s first female darts presenter she’s hosted ITV Sport’s PDC tournaments since 2015. She has also reported on tennis, golf, rugby league and snooker events.
Fox Sports hired Jacqui in 2022 as their main USA commentator for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, becoming the first woman to hold the position of play-by-play commentator in U.S broadcast history. She then joined the US play-by-play commentary team for the 2023 National Women’s Soccer League.
In 2016, Jacqui Oatley was awarded an MBE on the Queen’s New Year Honours List for her broadcasting services and dedication to diversity in football.
Jacqui is a strong advocate for women in sports roles, especially football and goes out of her way to promote female equality in the sport She is also ‘Women in Football’ ambassador and serves on the national committee of the Football Writers’ Association.
