More About Chris Hirst

Chris Hirst was Global CEO at the Havas Creative Group, where he was responsible for leading more than 10,000 people across multiple regions. Within three years he oversaw record growth and led the business to second place in Campaign Magazine’s rankings in the global network of the year.

During his tenure at Havas Group, he led the launch of the Group’s sustainability practice, Havas Genus.

Before Havas, Chris was the UK CEO of Grey (part of WPP), where he was responsible for profits quadrupling and the agency becoming one of the fastest-growing and most highly respected agencies in the world. These successes were recognised in 2014 when the agency was recognised as the global creative network of the year.

Chris Hirst is passionate about transforming what it means to be a leader and how to do it successfully, making better leaders of all people, be it within small businesses, schools or global enterprises. He challenges the concept that there is a leadership type, believing this to be an old myth that serves to exclude. Conversely, Chris affirms that anybody can be a good leader, once they wipe away the bullsh*t that stands in the way.
