As well as leading the group and presenting the show, Ben was responsible for all the planning, recceing and safety of each series.  Ben is an experienced broadcaster and has also appeared on The One Show, BBC Breakfast, Sports Relief and Blue Peter.

With his army and security background, and having travelled extensively in remote and often hostile environments, Ben consults on security and travel issues in between expeditions and TV work. He has an impressive client list – including the BBC and CNN – advising on security issues while in countries such as Yemen, Iraq and Afghanistan.

He is an experienced yachtsman, with several Fastnet races and trans-Atlantic crossings under his belt; a keen windsurfer and kitesurfer, skier, scuba diver and kayak instructor – basically, Ben is the real deal.
