Amy Lamé

A leading figure in the LGBTQ+ community Amy Lame, published her first book,  From Prejudice to Pride: A History of the LGBTQ+ Movement (2017) which was considered the  first of its kind because it was targeted at a young LGBT audience: ‘to inspire courage and pride in young LGBTQ+ people and help answer questions for all readers interested in gender and identity.’   The book earned Amy many award nominations including the 2018 ALCS Educational Writers’ Award.

Amy is also the co-founder of the Olivier Award winning arts company and club night Duckie.  She regularly hosts at the club night held at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern (RVT).  She also DJs at various club nights across the capital.
