Alan’s not just an expert on gardening.  He’s also hosted a number of shows and written a number of features & books on the British landscape, including The British Isles, A Natural History and The Nature of Britain, which was a landmark series for BBC1.

Alan also hosts his own ITV  self-titled chat show: The Alan Titchmarsh Show, and a TV quiz show called Masterpiece. 

Away from gardening, Alan has presented the BBC Proms on 4 occasions and compered the Windsor pageants for Her Majesty The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and 90th birthday celebrations.
