Abigail Ireland is a Peak Performance Strategist, international keynote speaker, coach, and facilitator.
Passionate about inspiring her audiences to bring their A-Game, Abigail is the founder of Understanding Performance, a leadership and training consultancy helping clients perform at their best in a sustainable way.
Her expertise is in high demand and she has been featured in a range of HR and media publications, including GQ Magazine, HR Magazine, and the ILM.
Highly educated, Abigail Ireland holds bachelor degrees in International Management and American Business from both the University of Massachusetts, and the University of Manchester, as well as a Masters in Business Administration. In 2008, she became a Chartered Banker recognised by the Chartered Banker Institute.
As well as being a qualified chartered banker, she is also a nutrition coach, executive coach, personal trainer, and NLP Practitioner, who is continuously uplevelling her own toolkit to best serve her clients with up-to-date insights.
In 2015, she founded Language Lane, a digital start-up that connects people around the world through language and culture. To date, it has over 300 language tutors available across five continents. Then in 2020, she co-created the Third Planet Collective, a voluntary organisation focussed on education organisations and individuals on how they can take practical daily action in support of our planet.
She also serves as a Business Advisor for Young Enterprise start-up programmes, is London Ambassador for LMBDW (a group of over 100,000 female entrepreneurs worldwide), a Lean In Mentor for Women in banking and finance and a guest lecturer on MSc programmes in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship.
