Reece Donnelly is a Scottish Actor, Entrepreneur, and Business owner.
In 2017, Reece founded the highly successful Theatre School of Scotland, and the Theatre College of Scotland not long after. In doing so, he became the youngest college owner in the UK, at the time. Students of his college have gone on to land roles at Disney, Netflix, and the BBC.
A familiar face to some, Reece appeared on the 2023 series of The Apprentice, becoming the first Scottish candidate in over a decade.
In 2018, he made The Sunday Mail’s Young Scot Awards final.
Reece Donnelly has been acting since he was just six years old, appearing on the CBBC show Carrie and David’s Pop Shop, and BBC’s Waterloo Road, as well as at the Citizens Theatre, and Pavilion Theatre. He has also worked on commercials for companies such as T-Mobile, and produced voiceovers for the NHS and Nickelodeon.
He went on to obtain a BA (Hons) degree in Drama from the University of Sunderland but felt more passion for directing and teaching new talent.
In 2017, Reece established the Theatre School of Scotland to provide prestigious performing arts training for children and young adults, and offer professional practice for those aspiring to achieve a career in the performing arts. The Theatre College of Scotland, sister to the school, is a leading performing arts and drama college that prides itself on giving young people expert teaching and advice, building up confidence levels, and offering casting opportunities.
In 2023, Reece launched The Scottish CEO Show podcast, reaching over a quarter of a million listeners. With guests including author Sophie Gravia, Apprentice finalist Rochelle Raye Anthony, money advisor Chloe Carmichael, CEO Dani Donovan, dancer & life coach Chloe Ferns, and creative director Amy Moore, Reece aims to inspire and educate the next generation of ambitious professionals.
