Natasha Kaplinsky is one of the country’s most recognisable news anchors, having worked for the BBC, Channel 5 and ITN. Her broadcasting career began on BBC 1 where she co-presented Breakfast, a morning news show that combined the latest headlines with current affairs.
Natasha remained on the show for 5 years before moving to co-present the BBC Six O’clock News where she stayed for a further two years.
Natasha has also presented a range of factual and entertainment television programmes including The People’s Medal, Missing on the Run (ITV) and the six-part live entertainment show Born to Shine (ITV, 2012) which supported the ‘Save The Children; No Child Born to Die Campaign,’ of which Natasha has been an Ambassador since 2010.
Other television credits include New Year Live, Making Your Mind Up, The Proms and BAFTA. Natasha was also the first winner of Saturday evening entertainment show Strictly Come Dancing (BBC1) and performed on their Christmas special. She later co-presented the second series of the show with Bruce Forsyth.
Her impressive portfolio ranges from awards hosting to conference facilitating and in-house DVD’s. Her intellectual expertise and professional, yet personal manner make her an engaging host and speaker for any public event.
