Maria did once again a fantastic job moderating the launch of UNDP-Atlantic Council joint report on refugees resilience. She has a unique ability to both raise the profile of the event to the highest standards while creating a warm atmosphere engaging panellists and presenters. Refugee issues are close to her heart, which is really key to keep the energy focussed during and beyond the event.

I had the pleasure to meet Maria and it exceeded my expectations for her fantastic moderating skills during a high-level forum on Sustainable Development that was co-organised by the United Nations and the government of Azerbaijan in Baku. Maria was assertive in interacting with high-level delegates including her respect for protocol and rightly putting subject matter for discussion in an easy to understand manner.
Delawar Barekzai, United Nations Senior SDG Advisor
