Kelly Armatage is a coach, trained counsellor, cognitive behavioural therapist, TEDx speaker and the inventor of the cognitive tool, The A.S.K Technique.
She has facilitated over 15,000 seminars, 1:1 sessions, and therapy clinics in the UK, USA and Middle East. She is a media favourite, having appeared in The Huffington Post, The Sunday Express, and Women’s Health magazine, to name a few.
Throughout her 20+ year career, Kelly’s mission has been the same, “to help alleviate suffering through internationally acclaimed therapy tools, courses, sessions and seminars”.
Like most successful entrepreneurs, Kelly Armatage’s spark came from her personal situation. By the time she had turned 30, she had endured a difficult childhood, two nervous breakdowns, two car accidents, panic attacks, depression, and divorce.
She was working in Bahrain in the corporate sector when she realised that high-flying CEOs and Directors kept confiding in her about their private thoughts and worries. She used this and flew with it, finding an opportunity to help others as well as herself. Over the following five years, she undertook deep therapy, and trained for qualifications in cognitive behavioural therapy, coaching, and psychotherapy.
It was still in Bahrain that she opened up Kelly Armatage Inc, the first licensed therapy clinic in the region. Over the years, she has observed unique patterns of healing behaviours; combined with her years of research, she developed the A.S.K Technique, a three-step cognitive and trauma tool used to change negative habits.
After 14 years abroad (in the Middle East and New York), Kelly moved back to the UK, where she provides help to alleviate suffering through her internationally acclaimed tools.
