More About Jimmy McLoughlin OBE

With a degree in Political Science, it wasn’t long before Jimmy McLoughlin entered the political world, first as part of the Boris Johnson mayoral campaign operations team. Since then, he has straddled the political and marketing worlds, working for PR agencies Fleishman-Hillard, and Bell Pottinger, and business networking company the Institute of Directors. He became the Business Director at 10 Downing Street in 2016, where he stayed until 2019. In 2020, he set up his podcast, Jimmy’s Jobs of the Future.

With particular interest in business, technology, and entrepreneurship, Jimmy worked alongside the British Government to help shape their relationship with domestic and international businesses.
