Jilly Johnson is a household name associated with glamour and beauty.
Over 30 years of her professional and personal life have been documented (accurately & inaccurately) both by the press and television. The media have been fascinated by Jilly, her looks, and lifestyle.
Before becoming Britain’s first Page 3 Girl in 1970, Jilly rose to fame as an in-demand fashion model. A tongue-in-cheek attitude to glamour modelling briefly followed before she formed a fun pop group called Blonde On Blonde with fellow model Nina Carter.
Jilly Johnson retired from music and modelling to focus on motherhood. She then pursued a career as an actress on stage and screen and has remained in demand, regularly touring the country in theatre productions and presenting health, beauty & fashion items on daytime television, including This Morning, GMTV, Loose Women, and on Granada TV. She also presented the Deadly Ernest Horror Show on Sky TV for two years and co-presented The Sunday Times skiing video with Andrew Neil.
Jilly’s video, The 3 Minute a Day Facelift was launched in the spring of 96 and was a huge success. In 1999 Jilly became the Face of Cleo – a beauty endorsement promoting facial exercise. She enjoys corporate and promotional work, especially within the beauty industry and has presented corporate press launches for NSPCC, Cancer Research, Marks & Spencer and Kodak.
Jilly is now in her 60’s and is a proud grandmother. She is the supreme and typical example of the Glamorous Granny, who practices what she preaches regarding her health, beauty & fitness regimes. Decades later, her face and figure are still her fortunes!
