Diagnosed in 2014 with the autoimmune condition endometriosis, Emily Newstead was faced with daily chronic pain, invasive surgery and lengthy treatment. However, after her treatment, she decided to see this as a catalyst for positive change and to influence her journey.  She grabbed life fully – with a tenacious winning attitude and launched her own full-time business just several months later, accepting life had changed indefinitely.  Emily has defied any words of doubt or lack of support and enables personal growth outside her comfort zone.

Emily has cycled across England, raised thousands of pounds for charity, supports local causes, passed the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst Commission Board selection process with commendation, qualified with QTS in education with a Grade 1 – Outstanding, and she is a qualified Advanced Ski Course Leader.

She was a member of the Olympic Torch Committee in Ripon and had the pleasure of working alongside Judith Donovan CBE. Emily was also key to the Yorkshire role of the School Sports Partnership Program and was action-led for change, with a Minister from the Department for Education in protecting this work.
