Having fireflies and bats dancing around her head combined with sheer happiness moved her to tears. That moment changed Catherine’s life forever and became fiercely protective of that forest, becoming an eco-adventurer.

Life since university, she has seen her working in wildlife filmmaking and sustainability communication. Throughout this journey, always keeping the sense of purpose that she experienced in Central America. At every opportunity, travelling to a new corner of the planet to see the wildlife and how the people interact with the environment around them.
She’s been lucky enough to visit places so beautiful that no photograph can truly capture them, and along the way, attempting to encourage her family and friends to join in.
It was these travels, through work and pleasure, that inspired Catherine’s mission to write about and photograph the top wildlife hotspots on the planet.
