Cat studied Ecology and Zoology at Imperial College London. Her first expedition saw her studying bats in Honduras. During this time, separated from modern life’s ‘necessities’, she became fiercely protective of the wildlife around her.
With influential YouTube and Instagram channels, Cat’s social media focuses on wildlife and adventure content from her intrepid journeys around the globe. She’s a mother of two and keen to share sustainability and conservation adventures with her children.

Life since university, she has seen her working in wildlife filmmaking and sustainability communication. Throughout this journey, always keeping the sense of purpose that she experienced in Central America. At every opportunity, travelling to a new corner of the planet to see the wildlife and how the people interact with the environment around them.
She’s been lucky enough to visit places so beautiful that no photograph can truly capture them, and along the way, attempting to encourage her family and friends to join in.
It was these travels, through work and pleasure, that inspired Catherine’s mission to write about and photograph the top wildlife hotspots on the planet.
