Anna’s professional journey began after she earned a degree in Management and International Business from the University of Nottingham. She then embarked on a global leadership career, participating in L’Oréal’s Management Trainee graduate program.
As a high-performing global manager for prominent brands, including L’Oréal, Anna juggled multiple roles, striving to excel as a professional, wife, and mother. This relentless pursuit of perfection led to overwhelming stress and, ultimately, a significant breakdown in January 2017.
In the aftermath of this pivotal moment, Anna sought the assistance of a skilled coach who guided her through rebuilding her self-esteem and reassessing her life priorities. This transformative experience facilitated her recovery and inspired her to become a coach, focusing on mental fitness and high performance.
She founded Eighty™, an organisation dedicated to helping leaders and teams achieve extraordinary results without compromising well-being.
Anna’s personal experiences have deeply informed her professional philosophy. She emphasises the dangers of perfectionism, noting that the constant drive for flawlessness can ironically result in under-performance, burnout, and stress.
Through her coaching, she encourages individuals to adopt a more balanced approach, advocating for the “80% is enough” mindset. This perspective promotes working smarter, not harder, allowing for high performance while maintaining mental and emotional health.
Talks are tailored to the needs of the organisation, but the following are popular themes that Anna specialises in:
