Akash Mehta is a British entrepreneur with experience working for luxury brands including Burberry, Dior, and Estee Lauder Companies.
His experience ranges from film to engineering, theatre to social media and marketing.
In 2019, he co-founded Fable & Mane, an Ayurvedic-inspired hair wellness brand, where he is now CEO.

Akash Mehta’s career started as an intern, first at Warner Bros. Entertainment Group, and then Level 1 Entertainment, the BMW Group, and the Airbus Group. He has also worked as a production runner for the West End adaptation of Great Expectations, as a trainee for Shaneel Enterprises LTD, and a marketing assistant for Procter & Gamble.
His luxury career started at fashion house WORTH PARIS as their social media manager, before working for Burberry in their media planning and buying department.
When he joined the Estee Lauder Companies, he became the youngest in leadership, working as their Social and Digital Online Marketing Manager. In 2017 he joined Dior and became their Senior Global Digital Manager whilst in his 20s. His focus was on affiliate marketing, working closely with celebrities, brands, and influencers. Whilst at Dior, he generated over $50million in Earned Media Value through micro-influencers. This passion for working with social influencers steemed from his own experience, posting videos onto the internet, including an Ariana Grande mashup which gained over a million views on Facebook. He now boasts over 580,000 social media followers!
In 2019 he co-founded Fable and Mane, a hair styling brand inspired by his Indian heritage and particular the times his “grandmother used to oil our hair while telling Indian fables”.
Akash’s work saw him being named in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, making him the only Indian in the marketing and media space to make the list. He is also the host of the Founded Beauty podcast, which uncovers exclusive insights into building international beauty brands. On top of all of this, he is also a board member and investor in LVMH’s Patou, is a co-founder of The Fable Fund which works in wild tiger conservation, and is a Global Guardian for UNICEF.
