It’s been a busy week for the Great British UK team… 

Last Thursday we attended the South East Venues & Events Expo in Maidstone where the director of Great British Speakers, Jane Farnham took centre stage as a guest speaker herself, discussing how to choose the perfect speaker for your event.  

As well as being able to connect with some incredible event organisers, we also got to meet some fantastic entertainers and speakers who we cannot wait to get on our books!

The next day we travelled to London to attend the UK’s biggest voiceover conference, ‘The One Voice Conference’ at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel.  Here we got to network with some of our incredible voiceover talents – many of whom were nominated for ‘OneVoice Awards’ – and attend panel discussions and workshops on the industry.   

Speaking again, this year on the agents’ panel, Jane was joined on stage alongside some of the world’s leading voice agents. Discussed was the changing VO industry and how the world of voiceover differs globally – including rates, how to get started and how each agent chooses to select their talent. 

And the GBUK Team even met up with one of our speakers – comedic actress and impressionist Debra Stephenson.
