Steve Parrish

Steve Parrish is a former British Motorcycle Champion, turning professional at the age of 22. In the mid 70’s he became a team-mate of the legendary Barry Sheene with Suzuki. He won the British 500cc in 1978, 79 and 1980 and added a Superbike title in 1981.

TRUCK RACER:

He retired from motorcycling in 1986 and embarked on a hugely successful truck racing career. He won the 1987 British Open Truck Racing Championship he then won both the European and British Truck Racing championship titles in 1990, then held the British title for four years and retained the European title for three years driving for the BP-Mercedes Benz team. The then won the European title again in 1996 in Jarama.

He was the most successful truck racer before retiring in 2002.
