She is currently the senior global comms manager for Expedia, responsible for planning content, editorial and entertainment for the company. She is also the WELL London Chapter Lead, Expedia’s internal women’s organisation.

Perla Bloom has a passion for understanding how people tick and then using that to further her marketing and brand management work. She holds a degree in psychology from the University of Leeds, with a year spent at the Université catholique de Louvain in Belgium, as well as a Mini MBA in Brand Management.
Since graduating, she has worked in media marketing for TMW Unlimited; as an account executive for Neat PR; a strategist at RAPP; a senior strategist at Saatchi and Saatchi; a global strategy manager for Publicis Media; and as a Board Member for VivaWomen! Where she wrote the comms strategy and lead their UK rebrand.
She joined EA Games in 2021, firstly as their global marketing strategy manager, where she lead their creative and brand strategy and connections planning. In 2023 she became their connections planning lead in global marketing strategy. Her role was to work on games including The Sims to work out how to communicate the right message to their audience. She also lead their Women’s Ultimate Team committee’s comms strategy, as well as planning events and webinars contributing to EA’s culture for women and allies.
She is currently the global comms planning senior manager in content, editorial, and entertainment for the Expedia Group.
Throughout her career, Perla has worked for a number of well-known brands, including British Airways, British Library Shop, Garrard, Mercedez Benz, the National History Museum Shop, the National Theatre Shop, PayPal, the Tate Shop, Virgin Media, and Xbox.
Perla is the co-host of the popular marketing podcast, Think Twice, where she engages global audiences with insights on entertainment, marketing, and technology.
