Stephen Howard was born in Long Beach, California to an Oregon lumberjack father and a Costa Rican mother. He is a bilingual English and Spanish speaker and can host and present in either or both language.

He now lives in Barcelona with his family but travels around the world to attend events.

Stephen Howard is also an actor, which started in his days living in Florida US. There Steve guest-starred in multiple episodes of Seaquest, Unsolved Mysteries  as well as Tom Hanks’ HBO award-winning mini-series From the Earth to the Moon.  More recently in Spain, Stephen has appeared in Hanna, La Templanza, and in En El Corredor de la Muerte.
