In his 15+ years’ experience, Paul Scott has reported on a variety of sporting events from across the globe. He started at Quay Radio where he was the Deputy Sports Editor, focussing on Premier League football tournaments such as the FA Cup. He has since worked for IMG, EuroSport, the BBC, talkSPORT, Whisper, and Russia’s RT. He has covered the Australian tennis open, the 2014 FIFA World Cup, and the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.
He has also worked for the beIN Media Group as the lead commentator on their English-language coverage of the Turkish football Super Lig, TRT World as a correspondent of their daily sports magazine show where he co-produced and presented a documentary on Sepp Blatter, and reported pitch-side at UEFA Champions League matches and at the 2018 World Cup in Moscow.
Since 2020 he has worked for the Olympic Broadcasting Service on breaking sport stories, the Tokyo Olympics, provided full live TV commentator on the English football league, CONMEBOL qualifiers, UEFA Women’s Champion League, appeared on Final Score (2010-23), and UEFA Conference League, participated in EuroSport’s tennis grand slam coverage, and commentated for the ATP Master’s 1000, 500, and 250 events.
Whilst best known for his sport commentary, Paul has covered breaking news stories including the Ukrainian Revolution, the Syrian Civil War, the failed coup in Turkey, the death of Fidel Castro, ISIS attacks in France, and the assassination of Russia’s Ambassador to Turkey.
He is also an internationally revered interviewer, having sat down with sports stars Novak Djokovic, Boris Becker, Eddie Howe, Didier Deschamps, and Marvelous Marvin Hagler, as well as the President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach, and Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
