Ollie Hynd MBE

Ollie Hynd MBE is a three-time Paralympic champion swimmer and inspirational keynote speaker.

Having been inspired by his older brother Sam – who won gold at the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games – Ollie has been competing internationally since he was just 16 years old.

Throughout his decade-long career, Ollie won three gold, one silver and one bronze Paralympic medals, four gold and two bronze World Championship medals, six gold and four silver European Championship medals, and one gold Commonwealth medal.

Ollie Hynd was appointed an MBE in 2013 for his services to swimming, was awarded the Disabled Sportsperson of the Year accolade at the 2014 and 2015 Nottinghamshire Sports Awards, and was presented with the Freedom of Mansfield in 2016.

Since retiring from international swimming in 2021, Ollie has become a freelance marketer, and now uses his sporting journey to inspire and motivate audiences to overcome adversity, achieve their goals, and improve lives.
