Before becoming a radio DJ, Mary Anne was a music journalist for NME and Loaded magazine.

Since then she has been a regular voice on BBC Radio 1 and XFM Radio, having won Best Radio Show at the Dubstepforum and DJ Magazine Awards in 2011.
She has also taken her musical career into film, working on the soundtrack of the 2010 Grammy Award-nominated feature Black Swan.On television, Mary Anne has engaged in other interests besides music, hosting an array of shows about global bike culture, including the series Mary Anne’s Bikes (2003) in which she travelled to India, Japan, Russian, the USA and throughout Europe.
The programme broadcast on BBC World to 120 million viewers. She has also hosted the World Superbike Championship for British Eurosport and in the early 2000’s, presented the children’s science series Why 5 for CBBC.Mary-Anne has broadcast live from Glastonbury and from 1999-2003 has presented to 50,000 people on the main stage at Leeds Festival. She also fronted Fruitstock Festival in London for Innocent Drinks in 2006 to a crowd of 100,000.
