Julie Etchingham is Anchor of ITV News at Ten and ITV Tonight. She is a journalist with 30 years experience at the BBC, Sky News and ITN.
She has twice won the RTS News Presenter of the Year Awards, the first woman to do so.
She is also a highly experienced moderator of live debates and events and recently has extended her skills to host numerous webinars.

Julie was the first woman to moderate a General Election debate, with all seven party leaders, in 2015. The programme was watched by 7 million viewers.
Since then, she has moderated every one of ITV’s elections, EU referendum and Conservative leader debates. She has hosted countless live discussion programmes in her long career.
Julie anchored both of ITV’s acclaimed Royal Wedding programmes and has worked as a reporter or anchor of the last five US elections.
She has hosted awards ceremonies for the Royal Television Society, The Women of The Future Awards, The Rory Peck Awards and others. She is also President of the Women of the Year Lunch and Awards, and frequently hosts special events for their alumni.
Julie has also moderated international conferences at the Vatican, with Pope Francis in attendance. She hosted a TEDx event in 2018 at Newnham College, Cambridge, where she read English.
Julie is also a patron of Anti Slavery International, an organisation dedicated to ridding the world of the scourge of modern slavery.
