Famous for bronzing more celebrity bodies than we’ve had hot dinners, Judy Naaké is an entrepreneur with a difference.
Most recently seen as the subject of Eamonn and Ruth’s highly acclaimed ‘How The Other Half Live’ and BBC2’s much-acclaimed ‘Peter Jones Meets’ series, Judy’s story is an inspirational one.
Judy is a highly successful entrepreneur, renowned for building the St Tropez brand from a zero base to a multimillion-pound company within ten years.
Judy sold St Tropez to LDC Private Equity circa 10 years ago.
Judy is the former High Sheriff of Nottingham and is a Fellow of Burton and South Derbyshire College.
She also has an honorary doctorate from the University of Nottingham and is currently a Deputy Lieutenant for Nottinghamshire.
When she first discovered the St Tropez tan in her late 40’s she was so confident in her product that she sunk all her savings into the business, leaving her struggling to pay her gas bill.
Today, having sold the company a few years ago, she is reported to be worth an estimated £30 million!

Before St Tropez became a household name, founder Judy Naaké had been involved with the health and beauty industry for many years, working with brands such as Decleor, Darphin and Australian Body Care and she has always been a well-respected personality within the beauty industry.
St Tropez achieved recognition by the Sunday Times Cool Brands awards and has won various magazine awards.
Celebrity devotees of the brand include Victoria Beckham, Donna Air, Cat Deeley, Billie Piper, Hermione Norris, Duncan from Blue, and Take That.

Judy is a confident and entertaining after-dinner speaker and has appeared on various television shows. She also judged ITV’s ‘This Morning’ Mumpreneur series and she is now in business with one of the finalists, supplying specialist clothing for premature babies.
