Jodie Kidd is not one to back down and has completed many challenges for work and for her own enjoyment. Endurance challenges include the L’Etape du Tour, the Burma Bike Ride, the Big Battlefield Bike Ride, and Mount Kilimanjaro.

MODEL

Jodie was spotted by photographer Terry O’Neil when she was 15, and the rest, they say, is history. When she started modelling the following year, there were many accusations that the promotion of her slender figure would encourage eating disorders. This did not discourage her from modelling, and she walked for the likes of Chanel, Chloe, Ghost, Jaegar, Lagerfeld, Monsoon, Moschino, and Yves Saint Laurent.

She appeared on the cover of Vogue magazine, appeared in The Face and Comme des Garcons, and starred on the cover for Elle magazine in Australia, Italy, Portugal, Singapore, Sweden, and the USA.

MEDIA

Since her step back from modelling, Jodie has become a familiar face on our TV screens, taking part in several popular shows, including Friday Night With Jonathan Ross (2004), Who Do You Think You Are (2008), Strictly Come Dancing (2008), Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model (2009), The One Show (2009), Top Gear (2003-15), Portrait Artist of the Year (2019), and Don’t Rock the Boat (2020). She presented her own US show Fashion Avenue (2005), presented the BBC3 documentary I Believe in Miracle Healing (2010), co-presented Channel 5’s The Classic Car Show and ITV’s coverage of the Isle of Man TT. In 2014, she starred in Celebrity MasterChef, making it all the way to the final.

This love for cooking and passion for sustainability has seen her growing her own vegetables and become an enthusiastic cook. This interest in food and how it can better your wellbeing saw her release her debut book Balance Your Life in 2019. The book was packed with tips and advice on home workouts, and the best diet for exercise.

DRIVING

An enthusiastic petrolhead, Jodie became known for competing the fastest “Star in a Reasonably Priced Car” segment in Top Gear (2003). In 2004, Jodie and her co-driver Fabio Babini took part in a Maserati Trofeo Pro-Am event where they finished top of the podium.

In 2021, Jodie launched her own YouTube channel titled Kidd in a Sweet Shop which is dedicated to her love of cars and, to date, has over 141,000 subscribers and over 14,000,000 views!

BUSINESS

In 2017 Jodie became the landlady of The Half Moon pub in Kirdford, West Sussex, which has been awarded two rosettes by the AA. She became very invested in the ‘Long Live the Local’ campaign asking for investment to allow local pubs and breweries to grow in communities.

Throughout her modelling, media, and corporate career, Jodie has worked with clients such as BMW, British Airways, Disney, Guinness, Polestar, Stella Artois, and Switzerland Tourism.
