GEORGE EGG – MEDIA
George has cooked on various TV shows, including on Great British Bake Off’s spin-off show An Extra Slice, Steph’s Packed Lunch, and This Morning. He also presented a number of cooking videos to promote the BBC Radio 4 Food and Farming Awards.
His unconventional cooking skills saw him front a three-film campaign for Vauxhall, in which he drove around the country cooking for various tradespeople using the tools that they might have on their building sites and in their factories.
Another ‘branded content’ presentation saw him fly to Toronto to front a campaign for Dewars Whiskey in conjunction with their Burns’ Night celebration ‘The Scotch Egg Club’. While in Canada, he made various TV and radio appearances in advance of the evening which he hosted, and for which he designed and oversaw the menu using a mixture of traditional Scottish and Canadian ingredients.
He has also appeared in non-cooking capacities on How Hacks Work as a panel member, as well as in an acting role on BBC3’s Ideal.
George is also a popular voice on radio, having appeared on BBC Radio 4’s The Food Programme, and The Loose Ends, as well as Radio 4 Extra’s ‘The Comedy Club’.
He has appeared on a range of high-profile podcasts, including The Odditorium, The Comedian’s Comedian, Hoovering with Jess Fostekew, A Glass With…, Jason Manford’s Absolute Radio Podcast, Tea With Alice, Richard Herring’s Leicester Square Theatre Podcast, and Insane in the Men Brain.
