Through his TV shows, Dom has investigated and reported on many illegal companies and rogue traders, he has extensive knowledge of their tricks, scams & cons. He is also a keen Motorcyclist and passionate about American cars. He has imported both new and second-hand cars from the USA.
Dom thrives on a challenge. He competed in the BBC’s first ever ‘Celebrity Total Wipeout’ in Argentina, in which he was narrowly beaten to 2nd place by just 1 second. He participated on BBC1’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ series 7 and made it through to the sixth round but gladly admits dancing was never going to be his forte. He also competed in the 2014 ‘RideLondon’ – a 100-mile cycle race for the charity ‘Bliss’ in an amazing 5 hours 31 minutes!
A type 1 diabetic, Dom has witnessed many changes in the NHS and medical procedures relating to his condition and is passionate on giving regularly gives talks on the subject.
Dom has contributed to columns for ‘Top Gear’ magazine, ‘The Telegraph’ and the UK’s number one diabetic magazine ‘Balance.’ He also is the author of the consumer advice book ‘Don’t Get Done, Get Dom.’
