Dan Lowes is a leading high-performance executive coach who had a 16 year career as an Officer and Fighter Pilot in the Royal Air Force, including three years as a Red Arrows pilot.
Dan graduated from the most demanding and gruelling RAF course and went on to conduct the flying tests of aspiring Red Arrows applicants.
The lessons he learned through his successful RAF career are as applicable today as workplaces become more remote and virtual. He works with organisations providing coaching and delivers keynote speeches on team development, communication and improving performance.
He has become a practitioner by thriving in one of the world’s most demanding and dynamic environments for over 16 years; surviving from time critical information arriving in the right place at the right time through effective communication lines and processes.
In his talks, Dan shares anecdotes from his life in the RAF, focussing on subjects of communication, leadership development and performance management. He has delivered talks recently to Barclays, Swansea City Youth Academy and the Premier League Head of Coach Development.
Dan Lowes joined the Royal Air Force in 2004. For 16 years, Dan was regularly exposed to demanding, dynamic and high-pressure environments, requiring split-second decisions and effective communication skills.
In 2016, Dan became an Executive Officer of the Red Arrows and a Red Arrows Pilot. Demonstrating his skills as a display pilot, Dan was then selected to assess the flying tests required for Red Arrows candidates.
After 16 successful years, Dan left the RAF In 2020 and joined TAG Aviation as a Gulfstream 650ER Pilot.
After leaving the Royal Air Force, Dan transferred his skills and applied them to coaching, team development and speaking. Working with clients in high-pressure environments, Dan offers tools that will help reduce stress levels, create simple changes to increase professional performance and understand personal and team vulnerabilities. With tried and tested methods, Dan helps companies to revolutionise their learning processes, team development, communication and performance, allowing them to mitigate mistakes.
