Carl Nasman

Carl Nasman is a TV news anchor and correspondent with over a decade of experience in presenting, hosting and reporting.

He’s currently an anchor and correspondent with BBC News in Washington, D.C., covering global affairs, US politics, and breaking news.

Carl also specializes in climate change. He has hosted Future Earth, a special BBC News programme focusing on climate solutions, and contributes to the BBC’s weekly climate newsletter.

He has anchored live coverage from the UN Climate Change Conference, where he covered international negotiations and interviewed climate innovators like Bill Gates.

He also hosted the opening ceremony of Climate Week in New York City and a unique live forum in Washington featuring BBC Media Action and USAID. He has served as emcee of multiple other occasions including climate and technology award ceremonies.

Previously, Carl worked as an anchor, correspondent, and digital presenter for DW in Germany and NBC News in London.

Carl is a fluent Spanish and German speaker and a trained VJ.
