North American presenter Carl Nasman, is a TV news anchor and correspondent with more than a decade of experience in television news, reporting breaking stories from the studio and in the field.

Previously, Carl Nasman was a host on DW-TV’s 24/7 English-language news channel, hosting primetime shows including The Day, which airs on PBS in the US and partner stations around the globe.
Carl is an innovator. As a senior correspondent for DW’s digital video team, he produced social-first stories that explain the trends behind the news. As a reporter for the digital series Follow the Hashtag, he was nominated for a 2016 European Digital Media Award.
Carl has presented Facebook Live coverage of breaking news and special events and developed DW’s first IGTV news video series, Portrait Mode. He is well-placed to work as a conference and event host, moderator and keynote speaker covering issues relating to digital disruption, social media and technology.
His work also dives deep. Carl has reported, produced and edited feature stories for PBS’s national TV news program. They include military war games training in San Diego and the dental health crisis among children in El Salvador.
