Put simply, when it comes to pushing the limits of what’s possible with an unsuitable steed, a roll of gaffa tape and a whole heap of determination, there’s no-one more experienced.

Ben’s most recent achievement goes by the name of ‘Pub2Pub’ – a record-breaking drive from the northernmost bar on the planet, to the southernmost. This 27,000-mile odyssey saw Ben cross 25 countries on three continents as he travelled from a bar in an abandoned Soviet mining settlement 700 miles from the North Pole, to its southern counterpart in deepest Tierra del Fuego. Sounds challenging? Apparently, it wasn’t challenging enough for Ben, who decided to undertake the journey at the wheel of a TVR sports car – not exactly a vehicle renowned for its toughness or reliability.
The resulting eight-month mission really packed in the adventures. From watching out for polar bears in the High Arctic to spending a week trapped in No-Man’s-Land between Latin American borders; from crossing the world’s largest salt flats in Bolivia to roaring through the vertiginous mountains of Colombia, the Pub2Pub story is one without a single dull moment.
Pub2Pub has struck such an inspirational chord with people that so far it has generated content everywhere from the Daily Mail to the Hindustan Times, has reached over ten million people worldwide and inspired many folks to live life to the full. And through compelling talks about Pub2Pub and his other adventures, Ben is continuing to bring out the best in people by making them believe in themselves and showing his audiences that with determination, anything is possible.
