Anna-Marie Watson is a performance coach, motivational speaker and founder of the consultancy business Reach for More. She supports a range of coaching clients and companies exploring ideas around performance, leadership and transition. Every client experience is individually tailored to accommodate personal preferences, purpose, desired outcomes and concentrates on the mindset aspect of work, life and training.
She is based in southwest England and travels globally to deliver training and coaching session.
She loves to take clients outdoors for “Walking and Talking” coaching sessions and organises “Netwalking” events to combine walking, talking and networking in the British Great Outdoors.

Anna-Marie Watson constantly pushes her own mental and physical boundaries too and has achieved considerable success at an international level in endurance sports. She combines the disciplines of long-distance triathlon and ultra-running with the odd adventure race thrown in for good measure.
Her athletic career spans from the London Marathon (2004 and 2007) and the Everest Marathon (2007) and has clocked up over forty-five ultra-running events including 100km, 100 miles and multi-stage. In addition; she has participated in ten IRONMAN 70.3 triathlon races including three World Championships (Las Vegas, Mount Tremblant and South Africa), two full-distance triathlon and a smorgasbord of global expeditions from Nepal, Ecuador, Africa and beyond. Closer to home in the south-west she’s set Fastest Known Times (FKTs) on the White Horse Trail, Limestone Link, Dan Booth Round and Mendip Way. She believes adventure lies on your doorstep. You just need to look for it.
From the back of the pack to the podium; during her first foray into ultra-running she narrowly missed the course cut off time (CCC by UTMB in 2008). Fast forward to 2018 she placed the 7th lady in the Ultra Trail World Tour annual ranking with podium positions at the world’s toughest ultra-marathons; Marathon des Sables and Ultra Trail de Mont Blanc (UTMB).
Her greatest achievement came at the Marathon des Sables (2015) where she placed second overall female and in the elite top 50. She’s seen taking part in the race below with another Great British Speaker, Ranulph Feinnes

Anna-Marie is also accredited in two cutting-edge psychometric profile tools that uncover a wealth of valuable insights and incorporates various models into coaching sessions. The coaching partnership draws on areas of knowledge and skills from performance psychology, neuroscience, NLP, positive psychology, mindfulness and behaviour modelling.
Happiest outdoors Anna-Marie loves to escape the confines of four walls and co-create coaching conversations with nature and is on a mission to encourage a different approach to work where our natural environment is valued within the business world. She co-hosts the biweekly ‘Coaching Outdoors’ podcast; co-wrote chapters in ‘The Coaches Handbook’ and ‘Succeeding as a Coach’ on eco-coaching and is a driving force behind the Coaching Outdoors Podcast LIVE @ Henley Business School. Former British Army Officer, she has worked in challenging environments from arctic warfare training in snowy Arctic tundra to three operational tours in hot and sandy deserts though currently resides within the rolling countryside of Wiltshire.
