Nutritional consultant, writer and TV presenter Amanda Hamilton is the presenter of BBC’s Slim Chance: Fix my Family and BBC2’s Sunday morning food magazine show, Something for the Weekend. She also co-wrote and presented GMTV’s diet campaigns, Inch Loss Island, Bikini Diet and Little Black Dress and hosted Slim Chance, How to Live Longer, Should I Worry About…? and The Last Resort on BBC1.
Amanda additionally co-produced and presented Spa of Weight Loss for Life, Spa of Embarrassing Illnesses and Teen Spa of Embarrassing Illnesses on UKTV.
She was also the resident nutritionist for ITV’s This Morning and the Tonight show.

Amanda is also an established writer, with three books published. Her most recent works, Eat Fast Slim examines fasting as a weight loss method. The book has been translated into languages as diverse as Korean and Czech. She also contributes monthly to several magazine and newspaper, providing advice on health and nutrition.
Amanda has created an exclusive profile for herself in the wellbeing industry. She worked directly with clients on nutritional programmes in her own clients, Nourish Clients and Nourish Holidays; retreats at Champneys Spa in the UK and in the South of Spain.
A member of the Guild of Health Writers and a senior associate of the Royal Society of Medicine, Amanda continue to further her nutritional education, studying a Post-Grad in Obesity Science at the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen.
