Lucinda Russell OBE

Lucinda Russell OBE is a leading horse trainer who has achieved phenomenal success, including two Grand National winners. In 2018, she was awarded an OBE by the Queen  for her services to horse racing.

Lucinda’s first victory as a trainer was back in 1995 and, since then, she has gone on to clock up more than 900 victories. She has trained two Grand National winning horses – Corach Rambler who triumphed at Aintree in 2023 and One For Arthur in 2017.

The beautiful Kinross Scottish countryside is where Lucinda trains, alongside her partner Peter Scudamore MBE, a champion jockey with over 1600 victories in a record-breaking career.

Together they have created the most successful racing yard in the history of Scottish jump racing.
