Wolfgang Lehmacher is a global thought leader and supply chain and logistics practitioner, business angel, advisor, board member, and keynote speaker, with over 25 years of hands-on experience in leading technology-enabled transformation in companies of all sizes.

Wolfgang Lehmacher previous roles saw him sit as the Director and Head of Supply Chain and Transport at the World Economic Forum; Managing Director for Corporate Value Associates, overseeing their China and India businesses; President of GeoPost; and a range of management positions for TNT, including Head Eastern Europe/Mediterranean, Divisional Manager, and Fleet Manager.
Wolfgang is a founding member of the Logistikweisen, an expert committee that falls under the patronage of the German Federal Ministry BMVI. He is also a founding member of the think tank NEXST who invest in businesses exploring innovative technology frontiers.
In 2020 he co-founded Seven Chapters of Circulatory, a global action group aiming to accelerate the transition from the linear to a circular economic and societal model; and in the same year he also founded the Maritime Informatics Institute Network.

Wolfgang’s commitment to sustainable practices is clear to see in his advocacy for sustainability and the circular economy. He has been involved in EU-funded projects, such as CIRPASS, a digital product passport initiative, and BALTIC-FIT, which aims to enable maritime transport in the Baltic Sea region to fit decarbonisation targets.
He is an ambassador for the European Freight and Logistics’ Forum, a key stakeholder member of D2XCEL, a member of the Board of Governors at the Universal Business School, an expert in e-commerce logistics for Parcel Monitor, and is a member of the council of legal experts for Gipfel der Logistikweisen (the summit of logistics experts).
