Hailed by Billy Connolly as one of his three favourite comedians in the world, Tommy Tiernan has been performing stand-up comedy for nearly three decades. Just two years into his stand-up career, his debut Edinburgh Fringe Festival show was awarded the Perrier Award for his outstanding contribution to comedy, as well as the British Comedy Award for best stand up.

His legendary record-breaking stand-up ticket sales extend across the world. He is second only to U2 when it comes to live ticket sales in Ireland. His Bovinity Tour played to over 12,000 people at three sold-out shows at the Marquee Cork, something no other artist has ever managed to do.

His comedy has taken him from Moscow in Russia and Moose Jaw in Canada, Australia and New Zealand, as well as every corner of Ireland’s 32 counties.

In 2009, he set the Guinness World Record for the longest stand-up comedy show by an individual at a stagging 36 hours and 15 minutes.
