Having worked tirelessly promoting and nurturing new fashion talent from Scotland she was also recognised by Glasgow Caledonian University who awarded her an Honorary Doctorate for her contribution to the Scottish Fashion Industry.
Over the years Tessa has been included in The Sunday Herald’s ‘Scotland’s Most Influential Women’ feature, ‘Evening Times Most Influential People in Glasgow’ and The Herald’s ‘Scotland’s Top Power Players’ to name but a few and her network of celebrity contacts holds no bounds.
Tessa was an avid campaigner with the ‘Better Together’ campaign during the Scottish referendum and appeared on Sky News, Newsnight & Question Time.
In her capacity as an authority on brand management, she is also a regular commentator on broadcast radio.
She has also contributed to many broadsheets and tabloids in her capacity as a brand & fashion expert, served as Fashion Editor at Large for The Herald and wrote for The Sunday Times Scotland as a political commentator.
This year Tessa was nominated in the Institute of Director’s Chairman’s Award for Excellence in Leadership 2018 in Jersey and she has delivered an abundance of speeches on subject matters such as ‘Fashion Tourism & Increasing Retail Spend’ to ‘Be Bold for Change – Equality in the workplace’.
Being a mother of 4 (her daughter Tallia Storm is also with us at Great British Speakers) and married for 22 years, Tessa is a trailblazer who is redefining power and role modelling what our world could look like with more woman in charge.
