Terry Alderton is a popular comedian, regularly performing all over the globe and picking up the odd award.
He has played New Zealand, Melbourne, Dublin, Galway, and Edinburgh Comedy Festivals, as well as in India and Canada.
His stand-up will turn any event into a riot with his infectious enjoyment. He is perfect for corporate entertainment, and his headline act will ensure your guests have a truly memorable time.
He is also an actor, recognisable as playing Terry Spraggan in EastEnders and Charlie Mead in London’s Burning.
Perhaps surprisingly, Terry Alderton began his career in football, as a goalkeeper for Southend United, before moving into comedy. He briefly re-signed with the club in 2004 after his performance in the celebrity team of the Sky One reality show The Match.

Now a popular comedian, you will find him doing battle with “The Voices”, two hilarious voices in his head. Though unpredictable, these voices often lead him into an unpredictable comedy routine.
His comedy has seen him nominated for the Perrier Comedy Award in 1999.
He has appeared on comedy programmes such as Live at the Apollo, Dave’s One Night Stand, Comedy Road Show, The Stand Up Show, and Live at the Comedy Store. He has also written and performed in three series of his eponymous BBC Radio 4 show ‘Terry Alderton’s All Crazy Now’.
As well as his comedy, Terry is a presenter and actor. He presented the National Lottery show Red Alert (1999-2000) with Lulu, followed by The Joy of Text (2001) with Ulrika Jonsson. He has made guest appearances on quiz shows such as Pointless Celebrities and Celebrity Mastermind.
As an actor, he appeared in the final series of London’s Burning, and joined the cast of EastEnders as the cab driver Terry Spraggan in 2013.
He is now a popular choice to appear at corporate events, lending his unique style of comedy to after-dinner entertainment, awards shows, and event hosting.

A mainstream act that dares to be different… effortlessly enjoyable yet excitingly different.

The feeling that you get in a room when the comedy is this good is unique. The audience becomes a single entity, bound by laughter and enjoyment. It is a powerful and rarely felt effect and you really must experience it. Thank you Terry Alderton, for giving me the comedy thrill of a lifetime.
