Sunil Patel is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and podcaster who is a regular on the comedy circuit and was once declared by Time Out as “one to watch”.
Early in his career, he received two notable accolades: being a finalist in the prestigious BBC New Comedy Awards and a Chortle Best Newcomer Nominee.
He has appeared in programmes for Channel 4, BBC Three, BBC One, and Radio 4.

Sunil Patel is a regular at the Edinburgh Festival, with his most recent show, “the immensely entertaining” (Entertainment Now) ‘Faster Horses receiving rave reviews and a run at the Soho Theatre in 2023.
Sunil has appeared on a range of television shows, including in Channel 4’s romantic drama series Alice and Jack (2024). The show also featured actors Domhnall Gleeson, Andrea Riseborough, Aisling Bea, and Aimee Lou Wood.
He has also started in BBC Three’s Things You Should Have Done (2024), Beyond Paradise (BBC One 2024), Borderline (Channel 5 2016-17), Beat the Internet (Dave 2018-19), Stath Lets Flats (Ch 4 2018), Silo (Sky Arts 2022), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2 2023), Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club (ITV 2020), The Witchfinder (BBC Two 2022), Bloods (Sky One 2021), This Time With Alan Partridge (BBC One 2021), Love at First Sight (Netflix 2023), Mandy (BBC Two 2024), and the BAFTA-nominated film Brian and Charles (2022).
