Simon Brodkin

Simon Brodkin is the comedian who handed Prime Minister Theresa May her P45, showered FIFA President Sepp Blatter with cash, and created the smash-hit BBC comedy series Lee Nelson’s Well Good Show.

Best known for his cheerful chav character Lee Nelson, he has performed solo stand-up shows since 2004, but he has also written for and appeared on TV shows including Al Murray’s Multiple Personality Disorder (2009).

One of the most exciting stand-up comedians of today, his last tour ‘Screwed Up’ was extended three times and ran for 170 days all over the world, including sold out nights in London.

He is very popular online and has over 3.2 million followers across social media platforms.

In 2022, Simon was diagnosed with ADHD, saying he “had no awareness of it despite going through medical school being a junior doctor – and always being interesting in mental health – shines a real light on the lack of education in the medical community”.
