Sarah Hadland is an award-nominated actress who has numerous credits across comedy, drama, and theatre. She can recently be seen in the smash hit BBC comedy Daddy Issues with Aimee Lou Wood and David Morrissey.
She is probably best known for starring as Steve in the BAFTA-nominated sitcom Miranda and as one of the original cast members of the BBC series Horrible Histories.
In 2024, she competed in Strictly Come Dancing series 23, partnering with Italian professional dancer Vito Coppola, with whom she finished in a runner-up position.
After Sarah Hadland completed her training at Laine Theatre Arts, she began her theatre career when she was 19, appearing in Cats and Grease on London’s West End. After six years, she transferred to touring theatre, most notably in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

Her television career began with supporting roles in The Bill and Bad Girls, before she began taking on larger roles in Green Wing and Broken News. Her other TV credits include Learners, Doctors, That Mitchell and Webb Look, Miranda, Murder They Hope, Inside No9, WIA, Fireman Sam, Midsomer Murders, Death in Paradise, Waterloo Road, Burton and Taylor, Horrible Histories, and The Job Lot.
Her film credits include A Quantum of Solace, Confetti, Snow White: The Sequel, The Queen’s Corgi, and Rogue Trooper.
She has worked as a voiceover artist for Catsan, VO5 Shampoo, and the PlayStation 2 video game Dragon Quest VIII.
