Drawing on lived experience and academic insight, he brings a distinctive cognitive perspective to his work, identifying patterns, connections, and opportunities that others may overlook.
His style of thinking enables him to develop evidence-based, innovative solutions to complex organisational challenges, particularly in the areas of inclusion, decision making, and cultural change.
He is now a popular speaker, delivering talks at prestigious institutions such as Harvard University, the Applied Neuroscience Association Conference, and Villanova University. Robert Annis specialises in organisational psychology, enterprise transformation, and executive leadership development, working across management, coaching, and business psychology.

Robert kindly stepped in fairly last minute to deliver a session on neurodiversity and mental health at our monthly ERG, and did an absolutely fantastic job. He is clearly extremely knowledgeable on the subject of neurodiversity and the brain, but it was his honesty and candidness that were most powerful, and deeply impacted the audience.
Sarah Bond, Junior HR Business Partner, Nexperia
I was fortunate to hear Robert speak on the topic of neurodiversity in the workplace. It was one of the most impactful sessions I’ve attended. His passion, depth of knowledge, and ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity was truly inspiring.
Gillie Fairbrother, Global Responsible Business Officer, Davies Group
Robert delivered a powerful keynote at the Neurodiversity in Business event, marked by his grounded, honest, and deeply humanistic approach. His welcoming presence and eloquence as a public speaker were truly inspiring. Asa fellow neurodivergent individual, I deeply resonated with his message that, with the right support, tools, and a meaningful cause, we can not only survive but thrive.
Nathalia, DEI, Neurodiversity and Ethical Compliance, Community Engagement and Human Rights Specialist
I recently met Robert at a neurodiversity conference where he was a keynote and I chaired a panel session. It was the first time we’d met and it became apparent when Robert spoke, just how much courage it had taken him to do this. Now knowing this, makes what he said even more astonishing. His candour, ability to convey his story with real power, combined with his professional skills as an organisational psychologist and a natural ability as a storyteller, meant he conveyed what he shared with real power which visibly moved the audience.
Mark Huxley FRSA, Entrepreneur
We invited Robert on behalf of Neurodiversity in Business to be a speaker at our FOIL event and I have to say that he enthralled our audience with his very personal and thought provoking talk on neurodiversity and how organisations can support through effective leadership.
Ian Thornhill, Operations Manager, FOIL – Forum Of Insurance Lawyers
Robert delivered a brilliant keynote speech, highlighting the science behind neurodivergent brains as well as the key strengths and benefits of hiring neurodivergent talent within the workplace, in addition to discussing his own personal experiences. I would highly recommend him for any future engagements – he is a fantastic speaker and very knowledgeable, plus he is highly passionate about his subject.
