More About Reiss Silva

With a Level 4 qualification in Strength and Conditioning, and Sports Coaching, it’s no wonder that Reiss Silva became a successful trainer and coach.

But his journey to success hasn’t been an easy one. When he decided he wanted to train fighters, he had to move gyms, resulting in an increase in rent prices and a loss of clients due to the travel distance. Within the first fortnight he lost eight clients and was making a loss in profit. But he gave himself one money to build his business up and the rest they say is history.

He worked as a Strength and Conditioning Training Coach at Pure Gym Limited, the Madra Mor Boxing Academy, and Leeds Force Basketball. As well as his own private coaching business, Reiss still works for the Golden Team Thai Boxing Limited, coaching boxers of all levels from amateurs to professionals at British level.

He has worked his way up over the last decade, from personal trainer at pure gym to coaching some of the best athletes around, and now running a leading programme for CEOs and businesses. 

In 2016, he set up Elite Step Ltd, becoming a performance coach for individuals, teams, and leaders across all industries. Two years later, in 2018, he co-founded BIND Wellbeing, where he helps develop and improve the mindset and wellbeing of employees. Anywhere from 6 weeks to 12 months, Reiss and his co-founder Ben Winn, help everyday people to manage life’s stresses, improve their wellbeing, and gain a happier, healthier life.

He is also the host of the Be Elite podcast where he talks to leading CEOs, entrepreneurs and athletes about building to success and their lessons learned along the way. He has appeared on recognised TV platforms including BT sport and ITV News, travelled the world for work and now offers workshops and talks to pass on his huge amount of knowledge and experience.
