Rebecca Hall is a travel writer, blogger, novelist and English Language teacher, lecturer and personal development speaker.
Having written for the Telegraph Travel, Hotelegraph, Vie Lifestyle and Travel Magazine, Rebecca Hall is a sought-after ‘travel-expert’ and has a passion for all things Greek!
She has contributed to two editions of ‘Rough Guide to Greece’ and ‘Greek Islands’ and one edition of ‘Rough Guide to Portugal’ – all entailing various travels around each country. Her debut novel ‘Girl Gone Greek’ was published in 2015 at the height of the Greek debt crisis and premiered at Literary Festivals in the UK and at privately hosted events in Athens, Greece with expats and diplomats in attendance.
Rebecca has hosted talks about Greek Culture for international cruises and held motivational presenters for GCSE English Language and Literature students, discussing her career as a travel writer, novelist and blogger.
In 2018, Rebecca won the Best Feature Fiction Script Award at the Greek Film Festival for her script adaption of ‘Girl Gone Greek,’ which she hopes will be commissioned as a film in the near future.
A member of the British Guild of Travel Writers, Rebecca frequently undertakes alternative travel means such as voyages on container ships – the latest from Athens to Hong Kong. She has also been invited to speak about such adventures at various conferences and events as an after-dinner speaker and has been interviewed twice for NPR Radio in the U.S.
